Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Shillong & Sightseeing
Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, begin your scenic drive to *Shillong, popularly known as the “Scotland of the East.” En route, enjoy a stop at the beautiful **Umiam Lake* (Barapani Lake), where you can soak in the serene views and click photographs. On reaching Shillong, check in to your hotel and proceed for local sightseeing covering *Ward's Lake, a charming man-made lake in the heart of the city, the well-maintained **Lady Hydari Park, and the Shillong Golf Course. Later, visit **Shillong Peak* for panoramic views of the city and explore the sacred grove at *Mawphlang Sacred Forest*. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 2: Shillong to Cherrapunji – Sightseeing
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, drive to *Cherrapunji* (Sohra), one of the wettest places on Earth. En route, visit the stunning *Elephant Falls. In Cherrapunji, explore the magnificent **Nohkalikai Falls, one of India’s tallest plunge waterfalls, and enjoy breathtaking valley views from **Seven Sisters Falls* (Mawsmai Falls). Visit the fascinating *Mawsmai Cave* known for its limestone formations and explore *Arwah Cave*. You can also witness the eco-park viewpoints and enjoy the dramatic landscapes of Sohra. After sightseeing, overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
Day 3: Cherrapunji – Dawki Excursion – Return to Shillong

After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to *Dawki, famous for the crystal-clear waters of the **Umngot River* where you can enjoy a boat ride (direct payment basis). Visit the India–Bangladesh border viewpoint at Tamabil and enjoy the scenic beauty. Later, explore *Mawlynnong*, known as “Asia’s Cleanest Village,” where you can stroll through the neat village lanes and visit the Living Root Bridge in Riwai village. After the excursion, drive back to Shillong for an overnight stay
Day 4: Shillong to Guwahati – Kamakhya Temple & Drop

After breakfast, check out and drive back to *Guwahati. Upon arrival, visit the sacred **Kamakhya Temple*, one of the most revered Shakti Peethas in India, situated atop Nilachal Hill.
